Al Qibla is an application designed to assist individuals of the Islamic faith in determining the direction of the Qibla, no matter their current location. The Qibla represents the sacred direction of prayer for Muslims. Utilizing geographical coordinates, including latitude and longitude, specific to the user's location, in conjunction with the accelerometer sensors within the device, Al Qibla accurately indicates the Qibla direction on both a compass and map displayed on the user's phone. This functionality is essential for Muslims worldwide as they align themselves with the Qibla (the direction of the Kaabah or Makkah) during prayer (salat), a fundamental practice in Islam and a pivotal aspect that will be reckoned on the day of judgment.
